Two males arrested for theft from work vehicles

In the early morning hours of Sunday, Aug. 31, Niagara Regional Police 8 District officers arrested two males who were found to be in possession of a large amount of stolen property.

Investigation revealed that the property had been stolen from work trucks parked in private driveways throughout the town of Grimsby.

Charged with three counts of Theft Under $5000, one count of Break and Enter, and one count of Breach of Probation is a 36-year-old Hamilton man. Charged with three count of Theft Under $5000, and one count of Break and Enter is a 52-year-old Hamilton man.

Police remind Niagara Region residents to properly store valuables, and secure vehicles in an attempt to prevent similar events from occurring.
