Hamilton man killed in motorcycle collision in West Lincoln

Wednesday, Sept. 24 at approximately 8:30 p.m., the Niagara Regional Police Service, the Pelham Fire Service and the Niagara Emergency Medical Service (EMS), responded to reports of a collision involving a single motorcycle on Campden Road north of Twenty Mile Road in West Lincoln.

Investigators have determined that a Harley Davidson motorcycle was being operated by a lone 43-year-old male from Hamilton.

The rider was traveling north on Campden Road when he lost control after attempting to negotiate a left curve. The rider was subsequently ejected from the motorcycle and thrown into the north ditch where he suffered a fatal injury.

The name of the deceased is not being released at this time.

This collision remains under investigation by Detectives of the Niagara Regional Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit. Any witnesses to the collision are asked to contact Detectives at (905) 688-4111, extension 5500.
