Grimsby girl, 13, missing

The Niagara Regional Police Service has entered into a missing person investigation involving a 13-year-old female, Jessica Akyeampong, who has been reported missing after voluntarily running away from a foster care home in the town of Grimsby.

Jessica has ties to the Hamilton area, and is believed to be staying in Hamilton.

There are concerns for Akyeapong’s welfare due to her age, and for that reason police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating her.

AKYEAMPONG is described as having dark shoulder length hair. She is 5′ tall, with a thin build, and weighs 100 lbs. It is unknown what Jessica was wearing when she went missing.
